Hello and welcome to the demo of my first real Twine game; Burning Academia! I've messed around with Twine in the past, but this is the first time I've really started to dive in to it. This launch only contains the prologue and will be updated as new sections are finished up until it's completion! The whole game is planned to be free!

Burning Academia is a 17+ paranormal dark academia IF about family, magic, school politics, and the ghosts which haunt you.

Prologue Features

• Have the worst day of your life
• Officially meet two (possibly three) of the ROs
• Decide which is worse: your mommy issues, daddy issues, or sibling issues
• Base character customization
• ~19k words in total

Content Warnings

Severe: Dissociation, emotionally unstable parent

Moderate: Absent parent, strained sibling relationship

Mild: brief descriptions of wounds, possession

Upcoming in Chapter 1

• Have another bad day
• Further character customization
• Meet the rest of the ROs + key side characters
• stats+relationships+achievement pages

Notes

Some things from the prologue might change to better fit future chapters. I can also guarantee saves will not work in the next update because I'm still figuring out how I want relationship variables to be set up and I'll likely change/adjust it in the next update (+ adding all the menus).

I also don't know if I'll release chapter one in parts (or how many parts) or all at once. It really depends on how long it gets!
