Devlog #2....kinda


Welcome to the second dev log aka the one where I report I Didn't Do Anything.

Ok, so I kinda got some writing done and I kinda worked on the backgrounds and kinda coded some things in but I hit a weird creative reset in August that made it impossible to focus on anything. I also sometimes go through hard cycles of 'enjoying media' and 'creating something' and I hit the 'enjoying media to replenish my creative well' pretty severely.

Which means no updated demo for now, oops.

With that being said, I joined Velox Fabula on a whim (like last second, day of it starting) and released PRETTYBOY Inc. is Hiring. I somehow made it in five days, and once the voting period for the jam is over I'll be getting into it a lot on a postmortem over there. A tldr though is that I learned a lot for such a short project, and I'm going to take what I learned and apply it here.

I'm not going to give a release window for the demo update, other then it really shouldn't be too much long. However, it depends on how quickly my creative well refills. I know some people can just push through it, but I've never been that person unfortunately. But yeah! A short update, but know that I'm slowly getting back into it. May the next update have a lot more substance to it!
