Hello everyone! I feel as though I've said this before, but I really can't believe it's been another month. Honestly, things have been pretty hectic. Getting everything ready and submitted for graduation as well as all my end-of-semesters projects have kept me busy. I'm also in that weird spot where I feel like I worked a lot on this game, but somehow it feels a lot like nothing at the same time aha. One of the things I've noticed is that for whatever reason working on the art side of things makes me feel like I haven't worked on the game. I'm not entirely sure why as the visuals to a visual novel are kind of important, but my brain seems to beg to differ.

Anyway, my progress list is actually pretty short this month:

• Programmed in Foster's route
• Made more sprite expressions (specifically for MC and Ghost)
• Fixed a couple backgrounds
• Night variations of backgrounds finished

One of the things I've noticed is that I've been very burnt-out creatively, specifically in the writing department. I've been writing my whole life, but in 2019 I slowed down a lot. It's been an on and off thing I've been dealing with, but it's been hitting especially hard lately. Again, I'm sure it's just a 'I'm really busy right now' kind of thing. Thankfully, I only have Ghost's route left to write and I swear I'm finding time for it in the next month. That's my only main goal. Sit down and write.

However with all that being said, I get the feeling once I graduate next month that I'll finish this game pretty soon. It's a weird thought, especially since I feel like I spent such a long time on it to this point. I'll be doing a full post on my thoughts and everything when the full game is out, but it looks like I'll hit that summer release! I'll probably have an official release date/month for y'all in May!
