Dev Log: July Update


Hello everyone, it's somehow been yet another month since the last update. This will also be the last one until the game releases, if everything goes well! Truthfully, I didn't make the progress I wanted to in the past month, because I was once again sick (if anyone reading this has been following the dev logs, then you'd notice I get sick a lot, aha). It wasn't anywhere as bad as previous times, but obviously it did cut into the time I had to work on this game. It's mildly frustrating as I'm so close to the finish line at this point, but it is what it is. If I have to delay the release, I'll post an update on my twitter and tumblr, probably around the first day of August. With that being said, here is what did get done:

  • Edited Ozul's route
  • Programmed in base Ozul's route
  • 2/5 of Ozul's cgs finished (the last 3 in various stages of completion)
  • roughly 90% done writing Camila's route (ending scenes left)
  • resized sprites
  • other various coding fixes

As you can see we are super close! The most time consuming part is going to be finishing the last of the cgs, and I don't want to rush through them. Again, I'll post a mini update at the start of August to see if I need to push the release date back, but we're almost there! I've had a lot of fun making this game, and I'm excited for the full release! As always, thanks to everyone who played the demo and has been following my updates! I'll see you here next time when it's time for the game release! For now, I leave you with a screenshot of the new sprite size vs the old sprite size because I thought it was kind of funny.
