Dev Log: June Update + Release Date


Hello all! The last few months have been busy. I had more health things going on, as always, as well as graduating! I just got my physical degree yesterday and it still doesn't feel quite real yet aha. Anyways, I didn't have any time to work on MG during that time, hence why there wasn't a dev log that month. I did post a general update for the month on my tumblr here, if you're curious. 

As far as current progress, this is what I've gotten done:

  • Finished Quincey's CGS
  • Started Ozul's CGS
  • Edited Quincey's route
  • Programmed Quincey's route
  • Finally started Camila's route
  • Minor fixes/edits to various things

I'm really happy with how Quincey's CGs have turned out overall, and it was nice to finally finish them all. It's also nice to have finally started Camila's route. Her route is different from the rest of the cast, so I kept putting it off until I figured out how exactly I wanted it to go. Now that I'm free from school, and currently looking for a job, I have a lot of time to put into this game now and progress has been a lot faster then it has been since I started working on it.

With that being said, I've decided on a (semi-tentative) release date for the game: August 19th!

Again this is semi-tentative just in case anything happens, but we're pretty much almost there! I'm excited to share the full game when it's done and as always, thanks to everyone that's downloaded the demo!
